On August 11,2007, Region 498 honored founding members Jim and Roberta Malcolm by renaming the Dublin 1 field as Malcolm field. Friends, family, dignitaries, and most important, AYSO players and volunteers were on hand on a beautiful sunny morning to congratulate Jim and Roberta for their many contributions to soccer in Madison and for their work on behalf of kids in Area 5C, surrounding areas, and nationally. AYSO National Coach and longtime friend John Ouellette dedicated the field, after brief speeches by Madison City councilmen and regional commissioner Doug Gooch.
